MISS MOLLY (Molly Hamilton) - Singer/Entertainer/Speaker
Miss Molly (Molly Hamilton) is a 5th generation Calgarian and has entertained local, national and international audiences for over 40 years, performing at over 5000 events for millions and millions of people (1000+ were Christmas Shows!). She continues to make appearances annually at: corporate parties, festivals, schools, community gatherings, business functions, conventions, and other special events.
Molly is not only a well-known singer/entertainer but also a world class speaker, placing in the Top 8 speakers in the World at the 2022 Toastmasters World Champion of Public Speaking Contest. The Toastmasters International Speech contest involves over 33,000 participants in 143 countries, making it the world's largest oratory contest.
She has also been acknowledged through many other special awards; Tourism Calgary’s "White Hatter of the Year" Award, given annually to the one person in Calgary who best demonstrated the western hospitality and friendliness of the city, Calgary's Child publication "Best Children's entertainer" award and the Alberta Recording Industries Association's "Best Children's Artist of the Year" Award.
Miss Molly’s most cherished performances include the 1988 Winter Olympics in Calgary, performing for crowds of 60,000 – 100,000 each of its 16 nights. The other was her featured performance during the Calgary Grey Cup half-time show where she performed live for 60,000 football stadium fans and approx. fifteen million television viewers.
Molly was the official entertainer and musical ambassador for the Calgary Stampede Promotion Committee for fourteen years, guest performing with the Young Canadians on the World-Renowned Calgary Stampede Grandstand Show on three different occasions, each time for approx. 300,000+ people during the 11-night run.
Molly performs by herself, with her band and/or continues to guest perform with symphony orchestras worldwide with her unique Every Cowboy Needs a Horse family symphony concert.
She has released six CDs on her own 2M Records label where she was the executive producer as well as writing many of the original songs.
In 2007, Molly started the Make a Wonderful Day music project. The mission of the Make a Wonderful Day® project is, through music, to influence people around the globe to make the choice to make a difference and make a wonderful day for themselves and others around them.
